WHY BOXING: THE MENTAL CHALLENGE AND FOCUS REQUIRED TO EXECUTE TECHNIQUE, AND BEING OUT OF MY COMFORT ZONE IN THE RING
YOUR FIRST GRIPT EXPERIENCE: MY FIRST VISIT WAS WITH MY ROOM MATE, BUT I HAD COME ACROSS GRIPT ON SOCIAL MEDIA. MY FIRST THOUGHTS WERE HOW INTENSE THE TRAINING WAS, BUT IT BECAME ADDICTIVE COMING IN EACH SESSION AND CHALLENGING MYSELF TO WORK HARDER. I THEN TRANSITIONED ACROSS FROM GROUP TRAINING TO PT WITH TYLER AND HAVE FALLEN IN LOVE WITH WEIGHT TRAINING.
WHAT IS YOUR APPROACH TO TRAINING AND YOUR CLIENTS? I WANT TO EDUCATE AND SUPPORT MY CLIENTS TO FEEL THAT STRONG IS SEXY. I ALSO WANT TO TRY TO BREAK THE STIGMA AROUND WEIGHT TRAINING PARTICULARLY FOR YOUNG WOMEN’S, STARTING WITH IT DOESN’T GET THEM BULKY. SINCE I STARTED WEIGHT TRAINING 9 MONTHS AGO, THE ONLY REGRET I HAVE IS NOT STARTING EARLIER.
